This is the second time I’ve stayed in the house, the group couldn’t resist going back again. The house is so beautiful and spacious, and is always clean and tidy. If we can find another excuse then we’ll be back.

Amazing. We stayed at Sco Ruston Hall as we needed a place big enough for 8 rooms to accommodate our team. 3 full days of focused uninterrupted work, we split into teams for cooking and the facilities were perfect. Lots of space for everyone including the dog who loved it! Thanks to Chris and Lisa who were lovely hosts. We’ve already booked for our August retreat.

A stunning house - perfect to spend Christmas together with family. Plenty of space to accommodate a big group. Lovely large table to have dinner together. Amazing kitchen perfect for preparing our Christmas meal as a family. Lots of space for everyone to get involved. Dog friendly with secure garden for peace of mind. The house felt very special. Decorated really nicely with a nice mix of contemporary and original features. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed with a lovely welcome hamper, fresh milk in the fridge so we could make a hot drink on arrival. Very prompt and comprehensive responses from Lisa the host. We were also met on arrival and made to feel very welcome.

What a lovely place to stay, the house is beautiful, very spacious and has a lovely homely feel about it. Everything was clean, modern and well looked after. Lisa was a great host and left us a lovely welcoming pack of Norfolk treats for when we arrived which was a really nice touch. I can highly recommend this AirBnB to anyone thinking of staying here, you'll have a lovely comfortable stay.

From first arriving at Sco Rushton Hall myself and my family 14 in total were completely overwhelmed at the grandeur and beauty of the house. Each room is tastefully decorated staying true to many of its original designs and furnishings. The house was tastefully decorated for Christmas, this made the house appear magical and special for not only the children but the adults too, so much effort had been made by Lisa and the team to make it perfect.

The blue bathroom with roll top bath was a real favourite, I think most of us at some point over the weekend we loved it.
The bedrooms are spacious, each one different with big comfortable beds, bedding again tastefully chosen to make it have an air of luxury.
The kitchen is spacious, and again was well equipped making it possible to cook a feast for Christmas dinner which was served in the beautiful dining room.
Not one of us could find anything we didn’t like about it in fact a truly wonderful house that we feel we were very lucky to be the first Christmas letting, would absolutely recommend the house for any large group looking for something special.

The house is gorgeous. It was clean and well prepped for us. The beds are very comfortable. Even though it’s a big old house and we stayed in November, it was plenty warm enough. Lots of thought has gone into the size and numbers of guests - 2 kettles, 2 dishwashers. It’s well located for pub meals out or to Norwich if needed. We cooked in several times too. I cannot recommend this house highly enough and really hope we will be able to make another visit!

What a secret gem of a place! Steeped in history and with a very caring host, Sco Ruston Hall is a perfect property for a getaway. Location is perfect and the kitchen is fully stocked, each room was spacious and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape to the country!

7 adults and 4 kids had a brilliant long weekend for a birthday celebration in Sco Rushton Hall. Great communication with the host and the house is gorgeous, even better than the photos suggest with rooms really spacious, furniture and especially beds super comfy and everything we needed was there and 2 dishwashers meant always clean crockery and cutlery. Would highly recommend for a super comfy stay for a large group of friends or family.

Our family group were all extremely impressed by everything the Hall had to offer. We were blessed with fantastic weather for October and were able to spend time sitting in the garden and utilising all the outdoor games on offer. All the bedrooms were impressive and very comfortable. The grand dining room was large enough to seat the entire family, however, the ample living space meant we never felt we were on top of each other. We would thoroughly recommend this property for large family groups and look forward to being able to visit again at some point in the future.

We took a trip back to the UK from Aus and enjoyed a lovely family reunion at Sco Ruston with 8 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs. The house is beautiful, extremely spacious and well equipped with a nice garden too. A good base to explore nearby surrounds. First and foremost, Lisa was a fantastic host and always willing to help! Turning to the property itself, the photos do not do it justice which appears to be the ongoing comment trend with previous reviews! The property was very clean, well kept and also very very spacious for our party! location is also great for the boards and local beaches - we visited Sea Palling which was lovely! Thanks Lisa! will be returning again if we are in the area as it was truly fantastic value for money!

Lisa couldn’t be more accommodating offering us an early check in and late check out (as this was feasible around the rest of their bookings at the time).
Lisa has thought of everything, from the amazing interior to every little personalised detail upon arrival.
Our only suggestion would be to take alternative photos to upload to the listing, as the photos really don’t do your stunning property justice! It was so much better than we could’ve imagined & the grounds surrounding it were gorgeous! Thank you so much for our 10/10 stay, we will definitely be back in the future!

Facilities were excellent: kitchen was large and spacious, loads of extra storage space, extra office space, well functioning wash rooms and hot water, lovely sunroom and garden, ample parking at rear and front.

Sco Ruston hall was immaculate and an incredible building. It had the perfect balance of an old and modern feel.
It had pubs/shops close by and was a short drive to the beaches in Norfolk.
The hosts were helpful and responsive.

We have just returned from a fabulous week here. The house is amazing - it feels like you are in a movie - so spacious and well decorated and furnished - yet you are able to feel completely at home and at ease there. They had thought of so much - such as two kettles and two dishwashers (ideal for 10), a small fridge near the dining room (we used for beer). Loads of space for washing and drying away from the actual communal spaces.
Everyone had an amazing bedroom and the communal spaces were plentiful and enabled some quiet times and also us to all be together. My father has recently had a hip operation - so the ground floor room was perfect for him too, it was totally accessible.
We loved the garden and conservatory and it caught the sun just perfectly. When it was cool on the coast it was lovely and warm there - a real sun trap!
We loved the area too - explored lots of local coastal and broads villages and got to see the seals at Horsey which was a highlight.
The hosts were fabulous - we had a lovely little hamper of treats on arrival - and they gave us a great tour around when we got there.
Highly recommend staying here for anyone - it really is a treat!

The house was amazing, we’ve stayed 3 times now and have been really pleased every time. I’ve personally stayed in a different bedroom each time and they’ve all been super clean and comfortable. The house is always immaculate.
We had a lot of fun playing swingball and badminton in the garden on sunny evenings and went to one of the local pubs for a nice meal by the canal.
Every time I’ve visited I’ve left trying to come up with the next excuse to book!
