Lisa was super helpful and communicative- she was happy to accommodate earlier check-in and a later check-out and the house was perfect. It was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

What a lovely place to stay, the house is beautiful, very spacious and has a lovely homely feel about it. Everything was clean, modern and well looked after. Lisa was a great host and left us a lovely welcoming pack of Norfolk treats for when we arrived which was a really nice touch. I can highly recommend this AirBnB to anyone thinking of staying here, you'll have a lovely comfortable stay.

The house is gorgeous. It was clean and well prepped for us. The beds are very comfortable. Even though it’s a big old house and we stayed in November, it was plenty warm enough. Lots of thought has gone into the size and numbers of guests - 2 kettles, 2 dishwashers. It’s well located for pub meals out or to Norwich if needed. We cooked in several times too. I cannot recommend this house highly enough and really hope we will be able to make another visit!

Our family group were all extremely impressed by everything the Hall had to offer. We were blessed with fantastic weather for October and were able to spend time sitting in the garden and utilising all the outdoor games on offer. All the bedrooms were impressive and very comfortable. The grand dining room was large enough to seat the entire family, however, the ample living space meant we never felt we were on top of each other. We would thoroughly recommend this property for large family groups and look forward to being able to visit again at some point in the future.

we had a brilliant weekend with a group of friends and we all absolutely loved the Hall. The beds were comfortable, the place was very well equipped and beautifully warm. Everywhere was decorated and furnished to a very high standard and we all felt very lucky to be there.

What a secret gem of a place! Steeped in history and with a very caring host, Sco Ruston Hall is a perfect property for a getaway. Location is perfect and the kitchen is fully stocked, each room was spacious and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape to the country!

This is a lovely spacious house with everything you need for a large party of people.
I had my 60th birthday here with my family.
it was wonderful.
we had a party in the garden and also a dinner in the dining room.
so much space for everyone to be able to relax.
20 minutes away from Happisburgh beach. lovely sandy beach which is dog friendly.
The whole party would recommend staying here.

Excellent accommodation for a large family weekend .

Our stay at Sco Ruston Hall could not have been more perfect!!!
Lisa couldn’t be more accommodating offering us an early check in and late check out (as this was feasible around the rest of their bookings at the time).
Lisa has thought of everything, from the amazing interior to every little personalised detail upon arrival.

Our only suggestion would be to take alternative photos to upload to the listing, as the photos really don’t do your stunning property justice! It was so much better than we could’ve imagined & the grounds surrounding it were gorgeous! Thank you so much for our 10/10 stay, we will definitely be back in the future!

We had a great weekend at this lovely home. The house is brilliantly stocked and has everything you need. The garden is a great size and allowed us to enjoy the amazing weather we were blessed to have.

A beautiful home and great location to explore the surrounding area. We had a fantastic weekend celebrating out parents 70th and 75th birthdays. We hope to come again for longer next time.

Stunning beautiful home, perfect for big families. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable and cosy. Lisa the host was very nice and incredibly helpful. All of us absolutely enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Facilities were excellent: kitchen was large and spacious, loads of extra storage space, extra office space, well functioning wash rooms and hot water, lovely sunroom and garden, ample parking at rear and front.
Would recommend for family get togethers and large groups.

Sco Ruston hall was immaculate and an incredible building. It had the perfect balance of an old and modern feel.
It had pubs/shops close by and was a short drive to the beaches in Norfolk.
The hosts were helpful and responsive.

We have just returned from a fabulous week here. The house is amazing - it feels like you are in a movie - so spacious and well decorated and furnished - yet you are able to feel completely at home and at ease there. They had thought of so much - such as two kettles and two dishwashers (ideal for 10), a small fridge near the dining room (we used for beer). Loads of space for washing and drying away from the actual communal spaces.

Everyone had an amazing bedroom and the communal spaces were plentiful and enabled some quiet times and also us to all be together. My father has recently had a hip operation - so the ground floor room was perfect for him too, it was totally accessible.

We loved the garden and conservatory and it caught the sun just perfectly. When it was cool on the coast it was lovely and warm there - a real sun trap!

We loved the area too - explored lots of local coastal and broads villages and got to see the seals at Horsey which was a highlight.

The hosts were fabulous - we had a lovely little hamper of treats on arrival - and they gave us a great tour around when we got there.

Highly recommend staying here for anyone - it really is a treat!

Brilliant accommodation which is suitable for large groups

This house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 6 children aged from age 3 to 13. They particularly loved playing hide and seek! The whole place was spotless and well equipped, especially the kitchen where everything you could think of was provided. Unfortunately the weather meant not much time was spent in the pretty garden, but the sports equipment and outdoor toys were appreciated between the showers. Both Happisburgh beach and Horsey Gap (where you can see seals from the beach) are only 20 minutes drive away. There are also 2 National Trust estates nearby. We did not meet Lisa, the host, but she was always quick to respond to any queries, before and during our visit. She also recommended a pub where our whole party of 14 could book to have supper together on our last evening - the Recruiting Sergeant - a few minutes drive away, where the food was excellent and the service friendly and swift. We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful special place.

Beautiful house with excellent space for our large, extended family. Very helpful hosts. The house was very well equipped and spotless. Loved the welcome pack, which was really appreciated. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
